This selection includes both recent and earlier work, atmospheric pieces and narratives. It ranges from Wellington and the shores of Petone (where the poet lives) to far shores and into history. Her aim is to be inside the experience and take the reader in with her.
Robin Fry’s first career was in the professional theatre in England. In New Zealand, she worked in Radio NZ as presenter. During this time she did two tours with the New Zealand Players. Robin Fry has been writing poetry for the past twelve years. She has been placed in several poetry competitions. Robin lives in Petone where her interests are the arts, travelling, gardening and family. She has a grown up son and daughter and four grand-children. Her poems have been published widely.
Her first book of poems Weather Report was published in September 2002 by Inkweed Publishing and her second book, Daymoon, published by HeadworkX was launched on 11 October 2005 at Unity Bookshop,Wellington .
